What is the cost of telling the truth in a world built on necessary lies?

When armed men hijack MV Coral Venture, a cargo ship in the middle of the Indian Ocean, communications officer Zadie Al-Kazemi is one of only two survivors and a key witness. The massacre leaves twenty-one of her fellow crew members dead.

Australian Special Forces operator Jake Blackmore is called in to secure the vessel with his team and recover its highly classified cargo. But when he arrives, he discovers dark secrets, hidden motives, and a complex web of conspiracies, and he has more questions than answers: Why was the ship targeted? What was hidden in its cargo, and by whom? And why do his superiors want to manipulate the official story instead of uncovering what really happened?
